Issue two of bi-annual magazine Intern, features industry perspectives from Jessica Walsh and Adrian Shaughnessy which delve deeper into intern culture within the creative industries.
Working closely with Editor-in-Chief Alec Dudson and his team we approached the art direction and design much like we did for the first issue, respecting the content and bringing it in to focus with a minimal design approach.
To complement the existing typographic palette developed in the launch issue, we created a new extended sans-serif typeface ‘Entendue’, which was used for titling throughout the magazine.
Due to it’s small format, we made a conscious effort to showcase photography and illustration as large as possible using full bleed impact pages. We combined this with clear typography and contrasting paper stocks to add pace and tactility.
